Terms & Conditions
Last updated: May 25, 2026
1. Scope
These Terms govern your use of Crucible3D's 3D printing service. By submitting an order, you agree to these Terms. We may update them from time to time; orders are governed by the version in effect on the order date.
2. Quotes and order acceptance
Quotes are generated automatically from the file, material, and quantity you submit. A quote is an offer to print at the stated price; we may revise or decline a quote if the file is unprintable, the geometry exceeds our capacity, the requested material is unavailable, or the quote contains an obvious error. An order is binding when we accept it in writing — typically the order-confirmation email.
3. Customer-supplied files and intellectual property
You retain all rights in the files you upload. By uploading, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use the file solely to produce, inspect, package, and ship your parts. You represent that you own or are authorized to use the file and that producing it does not infringe any third party's rights.
We do not sell, license, or share your files with third parties. We retain files only as long as needed to fulfill the order and for a reasonable period afterward to support reprints, warranty claims, and recordkeeping.
4. Payment
Payment in full is due at order placement unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. Prices exclude shipping, duties, and taxes. We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Sales tax is collected where required.
5. Lead times and shipping
Quoted lead times are estimates measured in business days from order acceptance, not from order submission. We are not responsible for carrier delays. Risk of loss passes to you when the parts are tendered to the carrier. If you have provided shipping instructions or a carrier account, charges and routing follow those instructions.
6. Inspection and acceptance
Inspect your parts within 10 business days of delivery. If parts are non-conforming, contact support@crucible-3d.com with photos and the order number within that window. Parts not reported within 10 business days are deemed accepted.
7. Remedies
Our sole obligation for non-conforming parts is, at our option: (a) reprinting the parts at no charge, or (b) refunding the price paid for the affected parts. We do not reimburse downstream costs such as assembly time, lost production, or expedited shipping arranged by you or others.
8. Warranty disclaimer
Parts are produced by fused deposition modeling (FDM). FDM parts have inherent anisotropy and layer-adhesion behavior; their real-world performance depends on geometry, orientation, and end-use loading. We do not warrant that parts will be fit for any particular purpose, only that they will conform to the file, material, and dimensional tolerances stated at quote time. All other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are disclaimed to the maximum extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to an order will not exceed the price you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits or loss of use, even if advised of the possibility.
10. Regulated and safety-critical use
We do not produce parts intended for use in life-support, medical implants, weapons, aerospace flight-critical applications, or other safety-critical contexts without prior written agreement. If you intend such use, do not place an order without first contacting us. We may decline any order at our discretion.
11. Confidentiality
We treat your files and order details as confidential. We will not disclose them except to our employees and contractors on a need-to-know basis, or where required by law.
12. Cancellations and changes
You may cancel or modify an order before it enters production. Once printing has started, the order cannot be changed and is non-refundable except as provided under "Remedies" above. Contact us promptly if you need to cancel.
13. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or an order will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Bernalillo County, New Mexico.
